6. Entrepreneurial Achievers Are Inquisitive
One constant challenge of life is protecting ourselves from thinking we know enough. It's easy to become mentally lazy, although it seldom happens to outstanding achievers. They continue to barrel forward, turning the earth in search of information. And they gain it, at least in part, from other people. They practice one of the greatest of all skills: they ask questions. Asking a question is a way of learning more, preparing better, and adding value to personal relationships and decision-making skills. It's a way of asking for help. And it works.
Achievers, by definition, are looking toward the future, gaining new knowledge and developing an acquaintanceship with tomorrow. That new knowledge is the foundation of innovation and achievement.
An inquisitive mind is one of the achiever's most important assets. To be inquisitive is to be receptive to the opportunities and ideas of tomorrow.
